What we collect, and why.
Information you send us
When you submit the contact form we receive the name, business name, email address, business type, and — if you choose to provide them — the phone number and message you entered. We use that information to reply to your enquiry and to arrange a demo. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to unrelated marketing lists.
Information collected automatically
This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — including IP address, request time, and user agent — for security and reliability purposes.
Review links on TAIKUN products
Tapping or scanning a TAIKUN lanyard card or countertop stand opens a short link on our domain, which immediately redirects to the relevant business’s own Google review page.
We record that the interaction happened. For each tap or scan we store four things: a randomly generated identifier for the interaction, which business the product belongs to, which physical product was used, and the date and time.
We do not store your IP address, your device or browser details, your location, a referrer, or any cookie or advertising identifier as part of this record. Nothing in the record identifies you, and there is no identifier that links one interaction to another or to any other information we hold.
This record tells the business how often its products are being used. It does not tell us — or the business — whether you went on to write a review, what you wrote, or what rating you gave. Once you reach Google, what happens next is between you and Google, and is covered by Google’s own privacy policy rather than this one.
We use this data to report usage to the business the product belongs to, and to confirm the products are working. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Interaction records from review links are kept while the business is using TAIKUN products, so usage can be compared over time. Because these records contain no personal information, they cannot be traced back to an individual customer or removed on an individual basis.
